When you press Enter, the active cell moves down one cell. To change the direction

Click the Office button. Click Excel Options
Click the Office button. Click Excel Options
Click Advanced. Click the Direction list arrow. Select a direction
Click Advanced. Click the Direction list arrow. Select a direction
Click OK.
Click OK.
